Musée National des Beaux-Arts du Québec
Quebec City, Canada - competition finalist
MBLA teamed with Barkow Leibinger Architects and Imrey Culbert Architects as one of five finalists in this international competition to design a new pavilion at the National Museum of Art in Quebec City. This scheme proposes a series of plazas that respond to the busy avenue, while respecting an adjacent park. These spaces provide the museum with a range of outdoor exhibition and gathering opportunities, leading visitors to the pavilion's primary southern entrance.
