Laser Factory Trumpf International

This master plan and courtyard design was instigated by the addition of a 50,000-square foot factory and office building to an existing campus. Pedestrian and vehicular circulation, parking, plantings, and stormwater management were all considerations for this 38-acre site. The one-acre courtyard resolves the oblique geometry of the new building with the existing training and visitors’ center, while providing a central campus gathering place for employees and visitors. Custom benches in two designs, one precast concrete and one illuminated steel, populate the concrete terraces and provide ample comfortable seating.
